Thermal Wood Cladding

Thermal modification of wood takes place in specialised chambers without the use of any chemicals. During the process of thermal treatment, the chemical properties of wood is modified permanently by the careful use of Heat and Steam. Thermal wood differs from standard timber in several ways:

Reduces shrinkage and swelling due to moisture
Greater dimensional stability
Lower thermal conductivity
Resin free

Artiztree uses Thermal Wood to produce some exquisite claddings which can be used for both Indoors and due to its modified chemical properties Artiztree Thermal Wood series can also be used on building facades and exterior applications.
Thermal wood series is available in Finger Jointed Pine & Acrocarpus in Polished or Unpolished form.
